Cooper's Cove is a beautiful park located 7 miles east of Palmer and 1/2 mile south on 330th Ave in Pocahontas, IA. The park features 12 electric sites (50 Amps) with various water hookups, modern toilets, modern showers, septic dump station, shelter house with electricity, playground, and fishing. The oak savanna, keystone bridge, pond, and woodland trails along Lizard Creek provide a serene and picturesque setting for visitors. Camping fees are $20.00 per night and campers can stay for a maximum of 14 days out of any 28 day period. During the summer months, firewood is sold on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon for $3.00 per armload.
