This campground is great for families with kids, offering plenty of outdoor activities such as boating, jet skiing, swimming, and hiking. The grounds are well maintained, with level sites and plenty of space between sites. The bathrooms are clean and have hot water, although they are unheated. The park also provides free wifi with a strong signal. There are full hookup sites, as well as water/electric only sites near the lake with lake views. The park is quiet and heavily treed, and it is possible to get a spot lakeside. Showers are clean, although they can get a little cramped when the park is full.

From The Campground
Wright County offers several campgrounds for visitors to enjoy. The Lake Cornelia Park Campground is the largest, with 88 camping units, including 8 sites directly on the lake. All sites have electricity, and 50 sites also have water and sewer hookups. The Dows Pool Park Campground has 11 pull-through spaces available, with electricity, showers, bathrooms, and a shelter house. The Belmond Iowa River RV Park has 19 RV sites, 11 with full hookups and 8 with water and electric connections, as well as a small area for tent camping. The Oakdale Campground has 5 electric campsites and other primitive areas. The Wright County Fairgrounds in Eagle Grove has 60 camping spaces available, all with electricity.
