Heery Woods State Park - North Side is a beautiful park managed by the Butler County Conservation Board. The park features two enclosed shelter houses, camping areas with 30 and 50 amp service, flush toilets and shower house, fishing access, playground, hard surfaced trails connecting to the Rolling Prairie Trail, and boat ramp and canoe access. The park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and offers excellent fishing opportunities for bass, walleye, northern, and catfish.
