What others are saying
This campground offers a variety of activities for the whole family from April 15 to October 15. Activities include canoeing, tubing down the Turkey River, swimming, fishing and paddle boats in the Lake, a splash pad for kids, and a dumping tank for free. There is a store and bar on the grounds, as well as a pavilion for use any time, where childrens movies are shown every Saturday night during the season. The campground also offers new bathrooms with showers and rentals for canoes and tubes for the River. There is a playground for little kids and a mini horse for petting. The camp and sites are primarily packed dirt, and the whole place is very dusty. The beach area is nice with a splash park, and blow-up slide. The lodge used to be a restaurant, but now only serves one item a day. The campground is well designed and laid out and is on a lake that used to be a rock quarry. Restrooms are frigid with no heat, but serve their purpose. There is one row of sites that have the utility connections that have the rigs back-to-back. The campground is family friendly, with a full service restaurant and bar, and four playgrounds.
