What others are saying about this campground
Little Sioux Park in Correctionville, IA is a peaceful, well-maintained, and clean campground with electric and power-only sites. The park is patrolled by staff members, providing a safe and secure environment for visitors. Despite being a First Come First Serve campground, there is usually plenty of available space. The campground has two loops, one for electric-only and one for electric/water sites. A concrete pad ADA site is available. The north campground has plenty of space between sites, while the south side can be a bit tighter. Theres a short walk through the woods to the bank of Little Sioux River where visitors can enjoy fishing or simply appreciating the serene environment. The wooded areas and water attract a wide variety of birds to the park. Little Sioux Park has hot showers and a dump station. Upon arrival, it would be helpful to have access to a printable campsite map for easier site selection. However, the campsites are nicely laid out, many with trees. There are two playgrounds and a small beach area for swimming. The shower house, although somewhat lacking in cleanliness, provides usable bathrooms and shower stalls. All in all, Little Sioux Park is an above-average county-run park/campground thats definitely worth checking out.
