From The Campground
Slip Bluff Park is a picturesque 400-acre park located in Decatur, Iowa. The park offers a well-shaded campground with both tent and semi-modern sites. The area provides some 2.5 miles of hiking trails and a 16-acre lake that offers excellent Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Catfish, and Walleye fishing. Over 200 acres of the park is covered with beautiful hardwood timber that provides many spectacular natural sights throughout the year. Slip Bluff Park is currently being restored back to Oak Savanna and provides excellent bird watching. Hunting is allowed on the east end of the park.
