The Iowa State Fairgrounds is home to the internationally acclaimed Iowa State Fair, which is the single largest event in the state of Iowa and one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country. The fair attracts more than a million people from all over the world and is a celebration of the state's best in agriculture, industry, entertainment, and achievement. The fairgrounds offer camping and lodging options for visitors. The Elwell Family Park is also located on the fairgrounds and hosts various events during the fair.
