Beaver Lake Campground is a quiet, peaceful campground located a couple of miles north of Dexter, Iowa. It is situated next to a public lake and hunting reserve, making it an ideal spot for overnight stays or for construction workers. The campground offers electric (30amp only) and water (20 PSI) hookups, as well as a dump station. The sites are pull-through and big rig friendly, and the park is surrounded by tall trees and green grass. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. Unfortunately, the campground is poorly marked and there have been reports of theft from the drop box. Despite this, Beaver Lake Campground is a great place to stay for a night or two.
