Grundy County Lake Camp Ground is a great spot for families, with plenty of amenities and activities to enjoy. It is located off of Highway 20 and has a separate entrance from the lake, so follow the signs on the road past the park. There are 37 electric camping pads with water spigots every other pad, as well as a dump station. Unfortunately, there is no sewer hookup, but the shower houses are clean and well maintained. The sites are long, level gravel pull-throughs and back-ins, and there is a picnic table and fire pit with a cooking rack at each site. Although there are few mature trees, there are lots of wildflowers and small birds in the summer, and the lake is a short walk or drive away. There is also a paved trail that will take you to the lake. The campground is generally quiet and can fill up quickly for holiday weekends, but there are usually plenty of open spots. There is also a playground for kids and a 18-hole pro golf course within a mile.

Grundy County Lake is a beautiful campground located in Grundy County, Iowa. The campground offers a variety of amenities including fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The park also features several trails, including the Comet Trail, Pioneer Trail, and Phil Kruger Memorial Trail. Visitors can enjoy the Heritage Center/Ag Hall Museum Building, Peck Log Cabin, and the Colfax #3 Headquarters Museum. The campground does not take any reservations at any of their camping areas.
