This campground is the perfect place to experience the beauty of the driftless area. Located right next to the Upper Iowa River, the campground offers mostly gravel RV sites with water and electricity, as well as a central dump. The campground is slightly older and mostly caters to family and friend groups who come to float the river. There is a lovely spring fed swimming pond too with a sandy shore. The campground also features a huge grassy sites, an awesome two acre man made lake (the pool), and tube trips down the river. Unfortunately, there is no cell phone coverage or TV on antennae, but you can buy internet access at the store for $2.50 a day. The owners, Kristi and Bob, are very friendly and accommodating, and they will even let you use your own tube if you have one. This is the perfect place for anyone who loves the great outdoors, swimming, fishing, tubing and relaxing by the campfire with a wonderful ocean of stars.
