Dickson Timber is a forest preserve located in Carroll, IA. The campground offers 12 electric camping sites for RVs, 8 electric equestrian camping sites, and tent camping on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are several miles of hiking and horseback riding trails that are easily accessible from the campgrounds. The shelter house is available for use on a first-come, first-serve basis if it has not already been reserved. Dickson Timber is open from mid-April through mid-October, weather permitting.
