Cuttys Des Moines Camping Club in Grimes, IA is a great RV park to visit if youre in the area. Upon check-in, they provide a map and guide you to your pull-through site, which is generally level and has a concrete pad for RV steps. There is a nice picnic table and some spots even have water and sewer. You may share a front yard with your neighbor as the park alternates RVs pulling in. One of the best things about this park is the designated dog leash-free zone in the back, which is a large grass area with some exercise equipment and supplied pick-up bags. There are many activities for families, including swimming pools, exercise rooms, tennis, basketball and mini-golf. Kids will love the play and game areas. The lake in the center of the park is perfect for a fishing trip. The staff at Cuttys is very helpful and friendly. The park adds $5.35 extra and is easy to get on and off the highway.
