Hillview Recreation Area is a 580-acre park located in Plymouth, IA. The park offers a mixture of open grasslands, reconstructed prairie, oak woodlands, and wildlife habitat. Visitors can camp, swim, and hunt as well as hike, bike and ride a horse. The park features three campgrounds with modern and primitive restrooms, electric and water hook-ups, mountain bike trails, multi-use trails, a 3-acre pond for fishing, paddling, and swimming, a nine-hole disc golf course, a snow tubing hill, a Center for Outdoor Learning, and a large picnic shelter for hosting events and gatherings. Playgrounds and restrooms are scattered throughout the park.
