This campground is a great spot for tent camping, set in a beautiful grove of cottonwood and other trees. Its within easy walking distance of the spillway and the Devonian Fossil Gorge, offering visitors a chance to explore the areas geologic history. The campground offers paved, level full hook up pull-through sites with fire rings, as well as wooded sites for those looking for a bit more privacy. There are also clean facilities, including restrooms with free showers, and a playground. The campground is just a 5 minute drive from town, with a full service mall, restaurants, and grocery stores. Its also located on a lake with boat-ramp, kids play area, and hiking trails nearby. Tent camp sites 12 & above are in the trees, more secluded; 11 & below are in more of a grassy meadow with only a few trees.
