Hills Access Campground is a great place to stay for a night or two while traveling. Located just off Highway 218, this small campground is nestled right along the Iowa River, providing a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The campground is well maintained and offers electric hookups for $15 a night. It is a first come, first served campground, and self pay. The campground is frequented by country folk, and there are a few people who come in for fishing in the evening. Kayaking down the river is a great way to spend the day, and the campground is also a great spot for a rainy night. Unfortunately, there is no drinking water available, but the campground is clean and quiet. The Rangers Aaron and Charlie are very helpful and friendly.
