Linder Point is located in the beautiful locale of Iowa City, IA, just a short drive from I-80. This RV campground offers spacious and angled RV sites with paved or graveled surfaces. The internal roads are all paved, making for easy maneuvering. The bathrooms and shower building are older but are well maintained and kept very clean. The campground features 11 tent sites spread across a level, open grove of cottonwoods, as well as four larger sites in the woods that can be accessed by a path that climbs the hill behind the parking lot. While the amenities may not be fancy, they have everything youll need for a relaxing stay. The Iowa River runs alongside the campground offering great fishing opportunities, and the Devonian Fossil Gorge, just a short walk down the road, is an incredible sight to see – a spillway for the Coralville dam with lots of interesting geological history on the interpretive path. With its close proximity to trails, play areas, and visitor centers, Linder Point is the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of the Iowa City area.
