This campground is a tranquil and peaceful county park located on the edge of Little Wall Lake. It features 53 full hookup sites, many of which overlook the lake, as well as a variety of other options for camping. The sites are spacious and have plenty of room for slides, and the grass is well maintained. There is also a swimming beach and boat launches at the lake, and a playground and loveseat swings for kids. The bathrooms are dated but clean and in good working order, and there is free Wi-Fi and good Verizon signal. The campground is close to a small town with a grocery store and gas station, and the roads are well maintained. It is popular with locals on weekends, and the gate is supposed to be locked at 10:00pm. This is a great value campground with lots of amenities and a beautiful setting.

Little Wall Lake Campground is located in Hamilton County, Iowa, and offers 106 camping sites, 6 primitive campsites, and walking trails. The 249-acre lake is owned by the Iowa DNR and offers boating, swimming, and a beach. The campground also offers WIFI and is located along the JewEllsworth Trail, which is 3.5 miles along highway 175 linking the communities of Ellsworth and Jewell. Fishing is available for black crappie, bluegill, catfish, largemouth bass, walleye, white crappie, yellow bass, and yellow perch. The campground is open year-round, but water is shut off from November 1 through April 1. The park hours are 5:00 am to 10:30 pm, and camping check-in is at 3:00 pm, while camping check-out is at 2:00 pm. The campground quiet hours are 10:30 PM - 5:00 AM.
