The sites are mostly level, but some may require blocks for larger RVs. There is a lack of vegetation for privacy, but the sites are shaded by trees. Boat trailers can be parked near the campground entrance, and the multi-use trails are perfect for running, horseback riding, and walking the dog. Verizon phone and wifi coverage is strong, and the campground is quiet at night. The lake is full of pan fish and the marina sells bait and rents paddle boats. There is also a nearby drive-in theater for a night of nostalgia. The campground hosts are friendly and the park is well maintained. However, the restrooms and showers are not always clean, and the sites can be unlevel.
