Van Buren County Conservation offers a peaceful retreat and outdoor adventure through its campgrounds, parks, hiking trails, lakes, fishing, hunting, wilderness areas, and historic villages. The campgrounds include Bentonsport, Lake Sugema, Morris Park, Douds, and Austin Park. Lake Sugema is a popular fishing lake with accessible facilities, camping, and good/excellent shore fishing. The amenities at Lake Sugema include a fishing jetty, accessible pier, picnic area, trails, restrooms, and a fish cleaning station. The activities offered by Van Buren County Conservation include hiking, kayaking, bird and nature hikes, and craft/flea market events. The campground gift certificates are also available at the Van Buren County Conservation Office.
