ACE Campground is a beautiful, well-maintained campground located between Pella and Knoxville, IA. It sits on the bank of Red Rock Lake, offering great fishing, shaded camping areas, nice bathrooms, hiking trails, and a nice beach. The campground has hundreds of sites, many of which offer views of the lake. The sites are gravel and level, with plenty of space between them. There is 50 amp electric, but no water or sewer hookups. The campground is well-maintained, with mature trees, trimmed grass, and good TV reception. There is also a nice boat launch for Red Rock Lake. Unfortunately, there was a loss of power during our stay due to a catastrophic short between two legs of the main power into the portion of campground we were in. Despite this, the campground is still a great place to stay, offering plenty of outdoor activities and a peaceful atmosphere.
