GenieSummary
This campground is a great place for a peaceful and secluded getaway. With 700+ acres of parkland, there are plenty of activities to enjoy such as hiking, fishing, and disc golf. There is also a small zoo of animals from birds to buffalo, and a barn with electricity, running water, and real toilets. The campground is well kept and the spots are angled for easier backing. The electric sites have great views of the lake and easy access to the shower house and water spigot. Firewood is available for $5 for 12 pieces and the camp host is very helpful. There is also a dump station for when youre on the way out. The only downside is that cell service is very minimal. The park ranger is very friendly and helpful, but more trails would be great.
