Le Mars City Park is a great campground for those looking for a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Located on a strip of land between a creek and a pond, the campground offers 62 RV spots and seven tent camping sites, with half of the RV spots having electric and water hookups, and the other half having sewer hookups. The sites have level concrete pads, and are surrounded by beautiful, thick trees providing welcome shade in hot weather. The campground also overlooks a small lake with plenty of activity from geese and ducks. The campground is close to the Willow Creek Golf Course, picnic areas, a cement walking trail, and Archies Waeside. It is also close to the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor and company museum, which is worth a visit. The only downside is that it is close to the railroad tracks, so trains can get a bit noisy at night. The campground is also known for its cleanliness, with new management keeping everything tidy. The showers and restrooms are also clean and well-maintained. There is a dumpster and a container for recycling, but no glass is accepted. The campground also offers America the Beautiful Senior Pass discounts, Military CGs, and City, County, and State Parks.

From The Campground
Situated in the scenic Le Mars Municipal Park, Willow Creek Campground offers campers access to all the park facilities including sand volleyball, tennis courts, shelter house, swimming beach, a 3.6 acre spring fed pond, and located next to the Willow Creek 27-Hole Golf Course. Campers can also enjoy the newly renovated Historic Campground Club House and Restroom/Shower Facility. Storm Shelter located in the Club House basement during inclement weather.
