What others are saying
It was loud, but it didnt last long. The campground is located in the small town of Menlo, Iowa and is a great place to stay for a night or two. It is right next to the railroad tracks, so you may hear a train horn in the middle of the night. There are seven campsites, six with electric and water, and one pull-through with full hookup. The park also has a playground, a single Porta-Potty, and a cafe within a hundred yards of the camp. There is no Wi-Fi or showers, but the Verizon cell signal is strong. The campground is on the honor system for payment and is very affordable at $18 per night. The town is quiet and picturesque, with a bank, cafe, and a dive bar. Its a great place to spend the night when traveling on I-80.
