What others are saying
This campground is a great spot for a peaceful getaway. It is conveniently located near I-80, and is great for both RV and tent camping. The sites are all close to the lake, offering stunning views and plenty of opportunities for fishing. There are plenty of primitive sites available, as well as sites with power and water hookups. The bathrooms and shower house are kept clean, and there is even an old-style outhouse. Cell phone service is great for Cricket and Verizon users. The lake is clean and beautiful, with lush grass and greenery all around. There are plenty of birds to see, including herons, egrets, and hawks. There is also a short drive to the town of Montezuma, with a fully stocked grocery store. The campground fills up quickly on the RV side, so it is best to arrive early to secure a spot.
