Updog Campground is a peaceful and serene park located in Southern Iowa. With lots of shade trees and beautiful geese, this campground is perfect for those looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The grounds are kept immaculate and the shower house, although small, is very clean. The sites are mostly grass and gravel, and are easily maneuvered on gravel roads. There is a central breaker box with all 30 amp hookups, and the water, sewer, and electrical hookups all work fine. The owner lives on site and is very friendly and service-oriented. There is also a pond on the property with expansive mowed lawns and places to walk dogs. The railroad tracks behind the park can be busy during the day, but dont bother campers at night. The campground is very quiet, and the only downside is the occasional house flies.
