From The Campground

The Southern Iowa Fair Campground is located in Mahaska County, Iowa. The campground is open from April 1 to October 31, weather permitting. There are 100 camping spots with 30-amp service, a shower house, and a dump station available. The only reserved camping is during the Southern Iowa Fair, all other events are first come first serve. During the fair, camping spots are reserved by numbered spot. The camping fee during the fair is $250.00 for the duration of the fair, which includes one parking pass. Only one car/pickup is allowed per campsite. All autos must be parked beside the tent or camper. Parking in the roadway is prohibited.
