This small campground is located near Highway 29 in Iowa. It is accessible via a one-mile gravel road, and payment is made by placing cash or check in an envelope in a locked box at the entrance. The sites are reasonably level and pull-thru, with good 50 amp-W-S. The campground was recently damaged by a tornado, but they are working hard to restore it. The roads are rutted and pot holed, and can be muddy when it rains. The campground is a good place to stay if you have business in Council Bluffs or just need to stop traveling for a night or two. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi is good but throttled back to about 2 Mbps download. There is a playground, pavilion, and block shower house. The only disadvantage is the road noise from I-29. This is not a resort, but a simple place to park an RV with no frills.
