Prairie Flower Campground is a beautiful campground located just 15-20 minutes away from the City Center of Des Moines. It is part of the Saylorville Lake COE project and features large, level, concrete pads with spacious patios, picnic tables, and fire rings. The interior roads are paved and wide, and the sites are spaced well apart for privacy. The campground offers 30A electrical boxes for small rigs, and there are numerous community water faucets for filling holding tanks. There is a single two-way dump station, although there may be a waiting line if the park is full. The park also has a playground, pavilion, and easily accessible fishing areas. On Saturdays, visitors can also enjoy the Farmers Market nearby.
