Shelby Country Inn & RV Park is a basic RV park located close to I-80 in Shelby, IA. While many of the sites are tight and some of the lanes are uneven and have potholes, it is generally easy to access power, water, and sewer. There appear to be quite a few long-term residents and some sites may not be well kept. However, the park is generally quiet with little activity, making it a good place for a short stay. The park is situated among corn fields and soybeans farms and is next to a motel, with the office for both located in the motel. All sites are pull-thru and surrounded by gravel. Some sites may be muddy, and some water and sewer connections are close together and at the same level, posing a contamination risk. The restrooms and shower rooms are large and clean, but do not have individual locking facilities. The wifi signal can be weak in some areas, but Verizon signal is generally good.
