Cenla RV Park in Spirit Lake, IA is a family friendly seasonal resort with about 25% of the sites for short term. The pull through slots in the front are long and mostly level, with good shade trees. The park is clean and well-maintained, with a large paved patio at each site, gravel/grass sites, and concrete pads. The utilities hook up is at the rear of the site, so motorhomes with tows do not work. The Wi-Fi and cable TV are excellent, and there is a general store on site with reasonable prices. There is a dock at the end of the campground with access to a lake, and there are walking trails for both people and dogs. The pool is nice, but the employees could use better people skills. The Middle of the day voltage sags under 103 volts, so be aware that this could kill your AC motor. The campground also has a small arcade room with video games and skeet ball. There is a 5 MPH speed limit that is not enforced, and no discounts are provided. The staff is professional and friendly, and the campground is close to Okoboji area and offers many recreational activities.
