It is a great spot for fishing, as there are a variety of game fish including walleye, northern pike, muskellunges, largemouth and smallmouth bass, white bass, perch, bluegills, crappies, catfish, and bullheads. The campground is also close to Arnolds Park and other activities around Lake Okoboji. The sites are large and private, with some offering views of the lake through the trees. There are plenty of options for tents, small rigs, large rigs, no utilities, electric only, and full hookup. The campground has recently been remodeled, with newly paved roads and newly planted trees. There are bike trails in the area, and nearby restaurants and breweries. The only downside is that the showers are not hot, but lukewarm.
