Cedar River Campground, formerly known as Hunts, is a family-friendly campground that offers seasonal, monthly, weekly, or overnight camping options. On-site, there is a beautiful pool, a snack bar that serves delicious food, mini-golf, a large sandpit, a Gaga pit, a dog park, and trails for hiking. Float trips are also available with large tubs, tubes, or canoes. The owners prioritize campers experiences and have planned activities and tournaments for adults and children, such as horseshoes and bags. While the location is right next to I-80, be aware that road noise continues throughout the night. The campground is easy to access from the interstate, but the road into the park is gravel and can be dusty. Some RV sites have sloping terrain and narrow access. The sewer connection may not be convenient depending on your units location. The bathroom is located up a steep hill from the RV sites. Cedar River Campground has been a favorite camping location for many families over the past 17 years.

Cedar River Campground is a full service family campground conveniently located off Interstate 80 Iowa Exit 267. Whether you are looking for a quick stop, an extended stay, or a memorable family weekend we have you covered. We are a seasonal campground open April 15 thru October 15. Full season, monthly, weekly, and overnight sites available. Enjoy our planned activities or one of our many amenities; river frontage, canoe/tube rental, mini golf, swimming pool and so much more.
