From The Campground
Alcock Park is a campground located on the west side of Frederika. Camping is available on a first come - first serve basis with non-electric sites for $12/night and electric sites with 20, 30, & 50 amp service for $18/night. The park offers amenities such as drinking water, electricity, dump station, 2 open shelters for $25/day, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, modern restroom and pit latrines, showers, play equipment, picnic areas, boat ramp, canoe access, hiking/walking trails, recycling stations, and fishing. The park is closed from November 1st - April 30th and closes at 11:00 p.m. daily unless you are a paid camper. Please note that the park has a low-head dam within the park that can be dangerous and result in fatalities if proper safety precautions are not taken.
