Waterville RV Park is a small, secluded campground located in the beautiful Iowa countryside. With only twelve sites, it is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The sites are full hookups and are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees, providing a sense of privacy and seclusion. The park is located near Big Paint Creek, where you can go trout fishing with a valid license. The nearby towns of Decorah, Waukon and Prairie Du Chien provide great amenities such as a brewery, grocery stores, gas stations, and a Mexican restaurant. You can also take a short drive to the nearby cities of Marquette and McGregor, or to the Effigy Mounds for a stunning view of the Mississippi River. Jim, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and will make sure you have everything you need. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms or showers, so be sure to come prepared with the necessary facilities in your trailer. The area also has limited to no cell service, so be sure to bring a good book and relax in the peaceful atmosphere.
