Beaumont Campground is a unique and historic campground located in Beaumont, Texas. It is situated on the grounds of a historic hotel built in 1879 and features a Frisco Railroad History museum and cafe. The campground offers full hook-ups, picnic tables, and access to the historic walking path. The cafe is open Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 7am-9pm, and Sunday 7am-2pm (closed in winter). Visitors can enjoy a friendly atmosphere, great food, and fantastic stargazing. Sites 6-11 are located next to a small house with no fencing, so it is best to avoid these sites. The campground is a bit of a drive from stores and fuel, with the town of Augusta being about 25 minutes away.
