Riverside Campground is a quiet, peaceful campground that has been put on the back burner by the Corp of Engineers. Despite not having much maintenance or repairs, the campground offers large lot sizes and a low price of $7.50 per night for water and electric with a Senior Discount Pass. The campground has narrow paved roads with gravel sites, and concrete picnic tables with roof to shelter from sun and rain. There is a good dump station near the exit, but no one manning the booths during the day, making it hard to check in. Dogs are not leashed and the restrooms are filthy. Bigger rigs may have an issue due to the narrow roads and bad drop-offs. There is no OTA TV but satellite would not require hundreds of feet of coax as there are areas with a clear view. ATT and Verizon work well here but T-Mobile did not. Reservations can be made online.
