Chapman Creek RV Park in Chapman, KS is a well-maintained and friendly park with easy access off I-70. The camp host is very helpful and welcoming, showing visitors to their spaces and checking for any problems with the setup. The park is clean and quiet, with well-maintained bathhouses that include a recreation area with tables, games, books, and a TV. Visitors can explore the town of Chapman, which is a little over a mile away and has a nice park in the center, or visit attractions like the Eisenhower Library, Museum and boyhood home complex, which is located about 13 miles away. While some of the sites on the hill or bluff can be tight to the neighbor and the exit road is a bit tricky, the park is generally level and easy to navigate. The small grass areas are nice for pets, and the pull-through spaces are fairly level with two small trees on either side and boulders marking each corner. The park is situated on different levels, with the lower level for permanent campers and the upper level for short-term visitors. Although the road to the upper level is a bit steep, visitors can easily mitigate the noise from nearby I-70 with a continuous fan or white noise maker, for a comfortable and peaceful stay.
