Walter Johnson Park is a sprawling campground located in the city park of Coffeyville, Kansas. There is a dump station in front of the showers, and a local honey wagon guy can be called for $15.00. There is also plenty of wildlife, such as squirrels and birds, and the park is conveniently located close to downtown and eateries, or up the road to Wal-Mart. Bring insect repellent and be aware that the showers are locked unless there is a city event or enough seasonal workampers check in.

Walter Johnson Park Campground offers two campgrounds, The Woods Campground and Rivercrest Campground, with a total of 118 spaces available on a first-come basis. The Woods Campground has 56 spaces available with water and electric hookups, shower facilities, and a dump station. Rivercrest Campground has 62 spaces available with water, electric, and sewer hookups. Coffeyville Connection wireless internet is available for a fee. The campgrounds are open year-round.
