Miss Kitty RV Park is a recently opened campground located on the east side of Dodge City, KS. It is a work in progress, with brand new hook ups (electric, water, sewer, and cable). The entrance road is rough and has several pot holes, so visitors should be careful. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the laundry room contains detailed instructions on how to pay. The sites are easy to level and the Wi-Fi and cable are both free. The nearby Boot Hill Museum is a great place to visit and there is a Miss Kitty restaurant and Cattlemens Lounge just a short walk down the hill. Unfortunately, the park is in an industrial area and the smell from the nearby cattle processing plant can be nauseating. There are no picnic tables, pool, playground, or fire rings, and the park is mostly full of older rigs and full-timers. The mosquitoes can be bad, and visitors should bring insect repellent. This is not a place to relax and sit out under your awning, but it is a convenient place to stay for a few days.
