Fredonia Bay Campground is a great spot for a peaceful camping getaway. Located just two miles off highway 400, the campground offers spacious back-in sites with plenty of shade and picnic tables. Each site is equipped with a fire ring and electric and water hookups, and there is a dump station available. There is also a playground area, life jackets available to borrow, and a store nearby selling bait, ice, and essentials. Cell phone service is somewhat good, but wifi is spotty. The terrain is rocky and muddy, but the views of the lake are beautiful. There is also a great hiking trail to explore. The bathrooms are clean and have hot water, but the showers are located in the campground over. The rate is $17 a night and a good number of sites are available for walk ups. Fall River State Park is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing camping trip.

It offers six hiking trails, an orienteering course, and canoeing on Fall River. The park is home to a remarkable diversity of plant and animal life, making it a popular destination for bird watchers, photographers, and naturalists.
