This campground is a great place to stay for a night or a couple of days. It is located about an hour south-west of Kansas City, providing a peaceful and quiet rural environment. It is well maintained and offers decent size lots with a nice grassy yard at each site, picnic table and grill. The long term sites are clean and the bathrooms are well kept. The staff is excellent and they offer a Passport America Discount. The only downside is the noise from trains and trucks. There is also a small motel and bar on the premises for those looking to unwind with an adult beverage. Despite the recent rain, the mud is kept to a minimum. Unfortunately, there have been reports of the campground double charging customers, so be aware of this before booking.
