What others are saying about this campground
Glen Elder State Park is a large, beautiful park with plenty of amenities for campers. It features level, concrete pads with 6 short chains for tying down RVs, as well as asphalt roads and medium-sized trees. The hookup areas have concrete pads with tie down chains and hookups for electric and water, and each site also has a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grille with a lid. Further down the loop, there is a small playground for kids and a marina with a store for bait and fishing essentials. Facilities are average, with good electric and great water pressure. The park is located near the Worlds Largest Ball of Twine in Cawker City, and is divided into several looped sections with paved or gravel roads and a mixture of utility setups. There are 300 tent sites and 121 RV sites, plus undeveloped areas to dry camp on the lakes edge. It is a great spot for recreation, with boating, fishing, personal watercraft, and skiing all available. The park also has upgraded wifi park-wide and a day pass costs an additional $5.
