Lake Afton Campground is a beautiful county park located around Lake Afton, a stunning lake with swimming areas, boat docks, boat ramps, playgrounds, and a model airplane field. Most of the sites are electric only, but there are 16 sites with water and electric. 50 amp is available, and there is a dump station and drinking water available at several locations. The campground is well kept and clean, and the caretakers are always polite. The sites are big and some have shade, and the lake view is great. The park ranger lives on site and is helpful and knowledgeable. For a reasonable price of $12, you can run your A/C and enjoy the peaceful and dark environment. The park ranger is a bit overly aggressive in assuring that site occupants all have permits, but the campground is overall a great place to bring your bike and ride in the mornings, hang out with friends around the campfire, and enjoy a nice time.

Sedgwick County Lake Afton Park is a year-round campground located in Goddard, Kansas. The park offers 190 RV sites, including 16 electric and water, 154 electric only, and 20 no hookup sites. All sites have a maximum RV length of 45 feet and a maximum RV width of 20 feet. Daily rates range from $7.00 to $11.00 per site. Amenities include a bathhouse/restrooms, dump station, hot showers, and laundry facilities. The park also offers recreational activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and swimming.
