Hays RV Park is an older park located next to a busy intersection and train tracks, making it very noisy. It is run down with lots of deferred maintenance and the bathrooms are dirty. The sites have no pads, are very badly rutted, and the water spout is right beside and lower than the lip of the sewer. The electric box does not work for a normal plug, but does work with a converter for a large RV plug. There is no management on site, and the website pictures are false and do not represent the actual park. The daily rate is for a weekly stay, and the new owner is making much needed improvements to the park. It is recommended to drive on to Wakeeney or Cedar Bluff Reservoir instead.
