GenieSummary
There are plenty of sites to choose from and all have a great view of the lake. This campground is located in the beautiful West Rolling Hills section of Milford Lake, just 7 miles off the interstate. It offers a variety of sites, with 50 amp electricity in most sites on the A loop, and 15/30 amp electricity on the B loop. There is a dual lane dump station at the entrance to the campground, as well as a fish cleaning station and a small beach area. The campground is locked and closed until April 2020 due to recent flooding, but the elevated RV spaces are still functional and not at risk. The sites are large, graveled, and fairly level, and offer lake views on two sides of the camp. The bathrooms are mainly vault toilets, but there is a newer restroom building with flush toilets. The campground is quiet and peaceful, but can get a little noisy in the evening due to a few partying campers. There is no patrol of the facility, so there may be some trash in the fire pits and loud music from other sites. The closest eating/shopping is at least 5 miles away, and the closest bath house does not include a shower facility. Verizon cell and air card work well here. It is a great place to camp for a night or stay a little longer, and offers a wonderful sunrise and a large swarm of dragonflies.
