The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, providing a warm greeting during check-in and offering assistance throughout your stay. Guests appreciate the clean and well-organized RV park, as well as the clean restroom facilities. The tent sites with electricity are especially helpful. This is a great place for an easy overnight stay while on the road. The park has a good selection of RV items and provides some unexpected amenities like filling propane tanks and offering pizza and chicken wings for dinner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay for a night or two.

We are open at the Kansas City West/Lawrence KOA for all types of camping--RV, tents or cabins.This award-winning KOA combines Midwest charm with big-city accessibility. Just an easy hop off I-70, the campground offers KOA Patio sites, one with a KOA Patio w/Paw Pen, Pull-Thru RV sites with full hookups, Premium Tent sites and Deluxe Cabins. It's close to the University of Kansas with its busy calendar of Jayhawk sports and other events. Check out the shopping and restaurants in downtown Lawrence, or visit historic Fort Leavenworth. Twenty miles away, the Kansas City metro area has much to offer, including Kansas Speedway, Legends Outlets, baseball and a national soccer league. Stop by the on-site cafe for Hunt Brothers Pizza and Wings. In-season fun includes a mini zip line for kids 100 lbs and under only, gem mining, two playgrounds, and a swimming pool with a newly expanded covered deck and a splash pad, plus outdoor games. Rail enthusiasts will appreciate the rumbles and whistles of the passing trains (about a mile away).We hope to see you soon!
