The campground is surrounded by nature trails, perfect for exploring the local wildlife and foliage. It also features a playground, fishing dock, and beach, making it a great spot for a family vacation. Rates are very reasonable, with discounts available for seniors. The campground is kept clean and quiet, with virtually no road noise, and a regular law enforcement ranger presence. There are some drawbacks, however, such as narrow roads, limited shade, and a strong wind that can make outdoor activities difficult. Despite these drawbacks, Melvern Reservoir is a great campground for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
