Although there is a camp store, it was closed most of the time when we were there. Rutlader Outpost RV Park offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for those looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park has a variety of amenities including a laundry, showers, a storm shelter, and a meeting room for RV Rallies. The campground has a fishing lake and the Middle Creek Theater offers Saturday night country music programs. The park is located about 40 minutes from southern Overland Park and about an hour from Kansas City. There are no extra amenities such as pools or tennis courts, but there are spacious interior roads and sites, some of which overlook the fishing pond.
