GenieSummary
This campground is a great place to stay when crossing Kansas. It is situated on Highway 75 in southeastern Kansas, next to corn fields, and offers level gravel sites with all hook ups. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park has a tornado shelter, small fishing pond, and horseshoe pits. It also has great sunset views, good areas for walking dogs, and freshly painted colorful picnic tables. The wifi is excellent, but there is some noise from vehicles slowing down for the roundabout on the highway. The trees have a lot of low hanging branches, so be careful if you have a tall rig. The campground is a mix of seasonals and traveling workers, and the majority of the rigs are in good shape. Cash is required for night registration, and it is unclear if checks are accepted. The owner was even helpful in loaning a socket to fix a black water valve.
