Though the nearest major stores are 35 minutes away, the location provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The park offers nice, clean sites with fire pits and picnic tables, and a paved road makes for easy navigation. The campground is well-maintained and offers a grass walking trail around Kimble Point. RVers should bring leveling blocks as some sites are sloped. Verizon and AT&T have good speed in the area. Venango Park is a Corps of Engineers campground that is free during off-season.
